This page describes the cookies and similar browser storage used by Herodotus Cloud (this website and the associated dashboard). It is intended as a factual reference based on the cookies the application currently sets. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

Some cookies are strictly necessary for the application to work (for example, to keep you signed in). Others are only set after you accept them through the cookie consent banner.

Cookie consent preference

Stores whether you have accepted or declined non-essential cookies so that the consent banner is not shown again on subsequent visits.

cookieConsent — Records your choice (accepted or declined) from the cookie consent banner.

Authentication and session

These cookies are required for sign-in to work. They identify your authenticated session and keep you signed in while you use the application.

session — Stores the authenticated user session.
accessToken — Short-lived token used to authenticate API requests.
refreshToken — Token used to refresh an expired access token.

Project and UI preferences

These cookies remember your selections in the application UI so that your experience is consistent between visits.

selectedProject — Remembers the project you last selected in the dashboard.
staging — Remembers whether the staging environment toggle is enabled.
perPage — Remembers the page size you chose for paginated tables.
sidebar_state — Remembers whether the application sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

Wallet state

When you connect a wallet through WalletConnect / Reown AppKit and wagmi, wagmi is configured to persist connection state in a cookie (`cookieStorage`) so that your wallet can be reconnected on your next visit.

wagmi.store — Stores wallet connection state managed by wagmi / Reown AppKit.

Analytics and advertising

Herodotus Cloud uses Google Analytics (gtag) for aggregate usage analytics. Analytics and advertising storage are disabled by default and are only enabled after you accept cookies through the cookie consent banner. Declining the banner keeps these categories disabled. You can change your choice later by clearing the "cookieConsent" cookie in your browser.

Managing your preferences

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit. You can also manage or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Note that clearing authentication cookies will sign you out of the dashboard.
